This exotic Japanese recipe combines popped rice with tender and delicate green tea leaves. First created by peasants to save money and extend their green tea crop, our Genmaicha brews a refreshing cup that is both sweet and nutty.
Sencha Genmaicha Tea brews for 2-3 minutes at 180 F. Use 1 level teaspoon of dry ingredients for a 6-ounce cup and re-steep the same ingredients up to 3 times without compromising flavor or quality.
Ingredients: Sencha green tea, genmaicha (rice)
