This organic Chinese Matcha comes from the Taishan Tea Estate in the western part of Zhejiang Province. Like Japanese Matcha made with high-quality Gyokuro, the tea plants are kept in the shade to increase their chlorophyll content. This robust Matcha hosts the authentic acerbity of typical green teas. The mossy-green colored cup packs a strong and fresh bouquet with a slight tart aftertaste.
Organic Ceremonial Matcha brews for 1-2 minutes at 175-190 F. Use 1 heaping teaspoon for a 6-ounce cup. Enjoy!
