This broken-leaf, CTC (Cut, Tear, Curl) black tea from Assam, India, is unique and a first at the shop. Grown and processed at the Bukhial Tea Estate, founded in 1920, this tea brings a new tea type not seen at our shop before. CTC teas are almost always small, grain-like teas that are used in commercial tea bags and blends. We offer this tea for those who wish to try their hand at blending their own teas and those who like a strong, malty black tea. Let’s see what you can create with this tea!
Bukhial Assam Black Tea brews for 4-5 minutes at 200 F. Use 1 level teaspoon of dry ingredients for a 6-ounce cup and re-steep ingredients up to 3 times without compromising flavor or quality. Enjoy!
