This hand-rolled, golden-tipped black tea comes from Yunnan Province, the birthplace of tea. This large leaf variety is tightly rolled into ‘black snail’ shapes. Sweet aromas of honey and spice and a savory, winey palate, smooth, deep fruity astringency brings a tremendous depth of flavor. The finish brings a unique cinnamon bark and nutmeg flavor that creates a terrifically textured cup of tea.
Black Snail Black Tea brews for 3-5 minutes at 212 F. Use 1 level teaspoon of dry ingredients for a 6-ounce cup and re-steep the same ingredients up to 3 times without compromising flavor or quality.
